Robina Area Information
In the past 25 years, Robina has literally grown from nothing to an ever growing population of over 30,000. At the heart of the growth has been easy access to the M1 Motorway, the massive central business district hub growing around the ever changing Robina Town Centre, the terminus for the Gold Coast rail line, and many other developments. - Robina Town Centre- With renovations due for completion in 2009, Robina Town Centre will boast 110,000 square metres of shopping paradise, with the line up of hundreds of shops including Myers, David Jones, Target, Kmart, Birch Carroll and Coyle Cinemas, Woolworths and Coles.
- Other local supermarkets and community shopping centres including Aldi.
- Robina is a major employer on the Gold Coast, with the business district encompassing such major employers as AAPT and Austrar, with many more constantly setting up their base as further construction nears completion.
- Skilled Park, home to the Gold Coast Titans and the newly formed Gold Coast Galaxy A League Soccer team.
- Eating out is a breeze with hundreds of restaurants, cafes and takeaways.
- Robina is home to Bond University and the bustling centre of Varsity Lakes.
- Robina is also home to 10 different schools and 14 kindergartens and preschools.
- Robina Fairways is situated on Robina Woods Golf Course, but there is plenty of quality golfing action at nearby courses such as The Colonial, Lakelands and The Glades.
- Robina is home to several community medical facilities, including the public Gold Coast Hospital.
- Several sporting clubs call Robina home, including the Robina Aquatic centre.
- Robina Fairways is only a few kilometers to the best of the Gold Coast’s beaches, Gold Coast Airport, and the hubs of Broadbeach, Surfers Paradise and Coolangatta.
- Due to the master planned nature of Robina including open ‘green space’, new residential land is very hard to find.
